This set contains 60 instruction cards for building, to be used with standard unit blocks. Let the students build what is on the instruction card. The cards are, in increasing difficulty:
A. 12 photo cards with general examples of what can be built with the standard unit blocks;
B. 12 2-dimensional building cards with squares and triangles – these are perfect for the youngest children;
C. 12 3-dimensional basic building cards for cubes. Tip: let the older students also count how many blocks they have used;
D. 12 3-dimensional advanced building cards for cubes. These are more difficult than C;
E. 12 building cards with numbers, that show the view from above (how high the stack should be in that spot).
The students can work alone or in groups with this activity. It practices spatial awareness and general problem solving, but is fun as well!
