    240 Build the Sentence printable worksheets using words and themes from ALL 12 months of the year! These NO PREP printables are ready for you to print and go!

    These printables are perfect for morning work, stations, centers, literacy tubs, individual practice, small groups, homework, early finishers, subplans or 5-minute fillers.

    Students will:

    1. Cut out the words at the bottom of the page.

    2. Build the sentence on their desk (a great time to remind them about capital letters at the beginning and punctuation at the end).

    3. Glue the sentence in the correct order on their page.

    4. Practice writing the sight/dolch word in the box.

    5. Draw a picture about the sentence.

    6. Practice writing the sentence nice and neat.

    I've included 2 different versions in each set to help fit the needs of your students:

    (10) Five word sentences

    Themes include:

    January: Winter, snow, ice skating, snowmen, sleds, New Years, Martin Luther King, Jr., mittens, and ice.

    February: Valentine's Day, candy hearts, chocolate, Groundhog's Day, Mardi Gras, Washington, Lincoln and President's Day.

    March: St. Patrick's Day, rainbows, green, Spring, seeds, bugs, wind, rain, flowers, gardens, and reading.

    April: Easter, Easter eggs, chocolate eggs, baseball, April Fool's Day, rainy days and Earth Day.

    May: Mother's Day, Cinco de Mayo, Memorial Day, Armed Forces Day, military, flowers, and end of the school year.

    June: Father's Day, baseball, swimming, ice cream, kites, Summer, camping, fishing, vacation, and soccer.

    July: Independence Day, vacation, camping, fireworks, swimming, beaches, and hot dogs.

    August: Summer, ice cream, camping, road trips, swimming, bikes, fishing, sunflowers, vacation and back to school.

    September: Fall, apples, apple seeds, football, Patriot's Day, harvest, school supplies, back to school, Labor Day, and Grandparent's Day.

    October: bats, candy, candy apples, pumpkins, spiders, Columbus Day, scarecrows, Halloween, harvest, Autumn, the moon, and leaves.

    November: Thanksgiving, Veterans Day, veterans, Remembrance Day, football, fall leaves, raking leaves, scarecrows, and acorns.

    December: Christmas, Winter, Christmas trees, gifts, family, snow, songs, cookies, Hanukkah, bells, candy canes, hot chocolate, feasts, and Pearl Harbor.
