BUILDING AUDITORY MEMORY SKILLS THE BOOK INCLUDES:
• Building Auditory Memory Skills with Repeat After Me
If you aren’t sure how strong your child’s auditory memory is or should be, start with Repeat After Me as a quick measurement tool. Then advance through the levels of skill-building exercises. Children measure their own progress as they improve, all while reinforcing the fact that their efforts do pay off.
($4 when sold separately.)
• Building Auditory Memory Skills with Grid Art: Geometric Animals
Grid Art is a fun activity that all of the kids will enjoy, whether working to strengthen auditory memory skills or just plain have some fun. This one strengthens working memory, spatial awareness and auditory discrimination skills in the process.
($4 when sold separately.)
• Building Auditory Memory Skills with I Heard a Mixed Up Word
While you may adapt this activity to most skill levels, this one takes the auditory memory challenge up a notch in a fun, engaging way. I Heard a Mixed Up Word strengthens working memory and visualization skills as well.
($4 when sold separately.)
• Building Auditory Memory Skills with Hear the Hidden Message
Who doesn’t love to solve a mystery? Hear the Hidden Message delivers crack-the-code style fun in a way that helps children strengthen auditory memory skills. Again, to the kids it feels more like play than work.
($3 for each beginning, intermediate & advanced level when sold separately or $7 for all three.)
• Building Auditory Memory Skills with Which Word Goes Where?
I designed this activity around first and second grade spelling words. Ideally you’ll want to make sure your child reads at a second grade level or above, particularly for the intermediate and advanced levels. However, as with all of the activities above, you may simplify Which Word Goes Where for children who are at just about any level.
($3 for each beginning, intermediate & advanced level when sold separately or $7 for all three.)
Also included for your convenience are:
1) Strategically placed blank pages for easy duplex printing. (Print it and forget it.)
2) Hyperlinked bookmarks within the pdf to help you easily navigate the different sections of the book.
These activities are thoughtfully designed to optimize children’s auditory memory and listening skills. While you will not find any distracting, superfluous illustrations or graphics inside, kids still enjoy plenty of focused fun as they improve their ability to learn.

Hint: Building Auditory Memory Skills THE BOOK makes a great gift for your favorite speech therapist, educational therapist, reading specialist or special education teacher, too!
