Description
Can you design a car that will travel the farthest distance when it leaves a ramp? This activity covers the Next Generation Science Standards of Engineering! There are three differentiated recording sheets:
-One basic one for younger students where they circle the best result after two trials before redesigning their car
-One on which students have three trials and need to find the median
-Finally, one on which older students must find the average of three trials
A tips and suggestions page (including directions for creating a ramp out of classroom materials) and vocabulary list are also in the packet.
