Print and laminate the word cards. Cut apart the word cards (leave the word and picture connected).
Print the included letter tiles. You can print the tiles on full sheet label paper and cut them apart and adhere them to 1 inch square tiles. You can also print the tiles on regular paper and use modge podge to adhere them to tiles. They can also be printed on cardstock and laminated.
Students use the letter tiles to build each CVC-E word! Students can also record their words on the included recording sheet. There are 57 CVC-E words included. Building words is great for reading CVC-E words and is great practice for phoneme segmentation skills. After students build the word, they can read the word. The pictures assist students with reading the word.
