This is a set of building study creative curriculum interactive word wall cards. This has some of the same words as my building study creative curriculum vocabulary cards product, but this is one is resized for a interactive word wall. The cards are 3x5 and perfect for small hands. There are six pages with four words to each page. The words are in all uppercase because that is the easiest for prek/ 4 year olds to write. 24 words in all. There are some words from The Little Pigs book.
A interactive word wall is a word wall that students can take down words and lay them next to paper as they write and then place word back on wall. The placement of my word wall allows the students to do this with no help from me.
This is made on word and margins are set to narrow. I hope this helps if pictures and words are off set. The words are in textboxes so they can easily be moved around.
The word wall was made using command strips hooks, the rings that open easily, colored tape, small letters (small version of our sound cards), hole punch, lamination, and a computer. As shown in the pictures the word wall is made on the extra white board in the classroom. I would say the word wall takes up 2/3 of wall. This includes from top to bottom and side to side. I had the shortest student reach up on the white board to see how high to place the first letter. The name you see under the letter C is my name. I have listed all the student names like mine on magnets so they can find and write each other name easily. The template for adding names can be found on my Interactive Word Wall Cards - 3x5, prek, Creative Curriculum, Gold. I introduced the word wall with only the names on it during the first two weeks of school.
