Building fact fluency is an essential part of ongoing success in math. Yet, teachers often struggle to teach it in creative and engaging ways. This package uses a two birds, one stone approach to addressing this problem. This is a fun, engaging, and visually simulating lesson that is designed to build and enhance student fact fluency.
This package includes one 20 minute lesson on fact families. The students will use arrays to model fact families. The lesson is designed to be used in conjunction with an interactive white-board.
I've included a Microsoft PowerPoint file along with a SmartNotebook file for your convenience. I recommend displaying the lesson on your interactive white-board and having your students follow along and participate using their own dry-erase boards at their desks or in groups.
