Product Description
Our class motto is #stamina. Stamina is related to grit, perseverance, and a growth mindset. I begin the year with posting the [#STAMINA] sign in the front of the classroom under my alphabet. This ensures students are always reading and are aware of the stamina concept.

- First, we discuss as a class the purpose of stamina, why it is beneficial, and what it looks like.

- Then, we find our benchmark. Students begin working independently or reading silently, or however you plan on using this. I time the students, and when I see students off task I stop the timer, call the class together and we track our starting stamina.

- Lastly, I laminate the graph, use an expo marker so, Monday- Friday we track our stamina and I erase our status each week.
