Description
As the end of the year approaches, it's time to review the science and social studies vocabulary that your students have been learning. Engaging with digital tools is a great way to help your students remember and practice their new words. These Boom Learning digital task cards are engaging and fun for the students, and easy for the teacher to assign and asses!
Why use Distant Learning Science and Social Studies Vocabulary Building Bundle? The brain automatically sorts information into categories, and the more we encourage sorting, the more the brain will be able to draw logical conclusions and make predictions. These Boom Learning Digital Task Cards encourage categorical thinking and are fun for the children. This is what keeps them coming back! They provide immediate feedback to the children, so learning is guaranteed to happen!
How it works: The children are given a word, and children are to choose one of the 3 multiple-choice answers, using science and social studies, and some fun stuff! If the children get the answer correct, the device tells them right away. If they don’t answer the question correctly, it lets them try again. Teachers are able to access records of how children performed. Since Boom Learning task cards can be used on any device, these are perfect for distance learning, when the children can’t be at school.
What’s included: Each of the six decks has 30 words that either name an important science or social studies word, or perhaps something fun like candy or board games! The student has practice with reading skills while developing important vocabulary. Boom Learning Digital Task Cards are perfect for distance or remote learning!
Boom Cards are easy for the teacher and fun for the children!
- These can be played on computers or tablets, give immediate feedback to the children, and detailed data for the teacher.
