What educators are saying

My students are having fun with grammar instruction again. They enjoy the lessons and are learning quickly.
Awesome assortment of higher level vocabulary for targeting synonyms! So many resources only include level 1 words and it’s difficult to find vocabulary for older students so thank you!

Description

This 42 page mini-unit is designed to enhance students' vocabulary skills through the use of higher-level synonyms. There are a total of 64 targeted terms in this product, which is subdivided into three sets (21 in both the green and blue sets, and 22 in the yellow set).

Each color coded set includes stimulus cards for each target word, a synonym page for students to fill out, 3 worksheets, an “I Have, Who Has Game,” and a 2 page quiz to assess student mastery of the terms. (Answer keys included.) There are enough cards included in the game to use with 3-21 students. For my middle school speech-language therapy groups, each set (green, blue, and yellow) will last two to three 30 minute sessions.

This product is ideal for upper elementary and middle school students in a speech-language therapy, Title I reading, small group instruction, or RtI group setting.
