Grammar just became great! This is an engaging game to reinforce the grammar of adding prefixes and suffixes to root words. There are 2 games in one printable packet. These games can be used with 3rd through 5th grade and are great to use within literacy centres or small guided groups.
Simply print the cards onto cardstock and laminate, for year after year of use with building skills in grammar. The cards are actually matched with little pictures in each corner. You can decide whether or not to inform your students of this fact, in order to differentiate the activity.
You will find:
The focus on un-, dis-, -ness, -able, -ly
2 instruction task cards
An answer sheet
A recording worksheet
An independent attempt worksheet
60 prefix/suffix and root word playing cards
