One of the strongest ways to build a classroom community is to give your students a voice and help them feel that they are respected, loved, and a vital piece to the classroom. Another way is for students to learn and value other students through lessons that foster opportunities to encourage students unique abilities. This lapbook explores similarities amongst all students as well as what unique qualities and interests each student brings to the classroom. It is a great way to celebrate differences and learn why our differences make our classroom GREATER!
This activity can be done at any time throughout the year as a "reset" to the classroom environment and a way to help students learn to respect their differences and set goals to become better students.
