Product Description
This collaborative project was designed to get students thinking about how the various characters in the short historical fiction book "Bull Run" by Paul Fleischmann a) are involved with/connected to the Civil War in different ways and b) that those characters' perspectives/involvements in the war change over the course of the text (over time).

This project asks students to focus in on one character in the book, and track their development. The final product is creating a visual representation (poster) that asks students to include 1) a portrait of their character 2) the side of the war that character supports and why 3) their development and 4) the things that most influence them.

The second sheet included is a sheet for the teacher, which provides a list of all the characters from the book, in addition to which side they supported (Union or Confederacy) and a brief description of their relation to/involvement in the Civil War.
