This bulletin board is a part of my Music Room Decor Set- "Music is the Universal Language of Mankind"
Looking for ways to show how music connects people of every culture and promotes tolerance and acceptance? This bulletin board aims at just that! Students will gain a better understanding of cultures around the world by learning about the origins of many folk songs.
-- “My Music Makes Me Feel” – a student input board that gives students the opportunity to showcase a song from their own culture. Each student is may choose a card, color in the face to show to how their music makes them feel, and write the title of a song from their culture. This may be something that they listen to on the radio, a lullaby that their parents sing to them, a song from their childhood, etc. I would encourage students to take it home and get family input.
- Due Cut Lettering guide included for your board- I have counted out how many die cuts of each letter you will need for the board, so you don't have to count out the letters. Don't have die cuts? I have also included colored letters in cool fonts. Print the letter pages on card stock, laminate, and cut them out!
- Decorate the board with a world map, pictures of children from all cultures, multi-colored music notes, lots of possibilities!
The student sheets could be used as the border, or make a cool shape (circle, heart, music note).
