This is a highly adaptable game that can be used to identify letters, read words, do math problems – anything you can think of that you want students to practice!
In addition to this game-board, you will need: dice & pawns. Also, either flashcards, words, page with lines of text, math problems, etc.
I generally laminate the boards so that they can be used over and over.
1. Divide class so that everyone is playing in a group of four or less. Each group gets a gameboard.
2. Each player should put a pawn on “START”.
3. The first player takes a flashcard (or does #1 on the page). If they answer correctly, then roll a die and move that number of spaces either clockwise or counterclockwise around the outer ring of the bulls eye. When a player lands on a red section, move in one ring closer to the center. Stay in each ring until you land on red.
4. Play passes to each player. Each player goes in turn until someone reaches the “trophy” in the center.
