Behavior management tool for individual students in the Whole Brain Teaching Classroom:
1) Student rates themselves daily on their behavior (on a 1-5 scale).
2) Teacher rates students behavior (on a 1-5 scale).
GOAL: For students to reflect and attempt to score themselves as close to the teachers score.
If the student and teacher both give the same score, the student gets 2 points for that day. If they are 1 number apart, the student gets 1 point for the day. Tally up the points and provide positive reinforcement once a certain total is reached.
This is a fun way for students to reflect on behavior by seeing themselves from the teachers eyes. In turn they are also gaining individual attention from the teacher in a positive environment.
