Bully Beans or Human Pretzel Game (for classroom or small group):
Includes 32 scenario cards of positive or negative peer interaction.
Includes EDITABLE scenario cards to type own ideas.
Game Directions: Print two copies of jelly bean and pretzel clipart. Cut out clipart and scenario cards. Divide class (or small group) into two teams. Each team gets two jar sheets (one Bully Beans and one Human Pretzel). One student from each team chooses scenario card and reads it. If scenario is a positive way to handle bullying, student places jelly bean on jar. If scenario is a negative interaction, student places pretzel on jar. The team with the most jelly beans at the end of the game, wins. One suggestion for the game is putting magnets on back of jar sheets to attach to white board. Use velcro to attach jellybeans/pretzels to jars.
Students color three strategies to help prevent bullying.
Students color two strategies to help make school a NO BULLYING ZONE. Cut out jellybeans and glue where indicated to complete foldable.
Blank Jelly Beans:
Students decorate jellybeans with strategies to stand up to bullying. Completed jellybeans can be used as a handout or collected to use for bulletin board.
