This lesson is for the students to truly think about what a bully is and what it means to bully someone. In this lesson, they will hear a story about bullying called, "The Ant Bully" by John Nickle. Students will get a chance to discuss what happens in the story and then a chance to discuss how that relates to their lives. What truly is a bully and what qualifies as bullying someone else. After hearing the read a loud and having a class discussion, students will create a t-chart over what bullying looks like and what they should do if they are being bullied or see someone being bullied. After they have finished their t-chart students will get to write a vow to not bully!
