This bundle contains lesson plans for fourteen 25 minute lessons. Besides the lesson plans, the bundle contains PowerPoint presentations to go along with each lesson as well as PDFs of posters used in the lessons. The purpose of the lessons is to allow for discussion about how to find good friends (discuss cliques and popularity) and how to handle friendship problems (including peer pressure and cyberbullying). When creating the anti-bullying lessons, Leanne integrated what she knows about the social-emotional needs of young adolescents in combination with her expertise in teaching reading and writing. The lessons incorporate problem-solving, reading, and writing skills. Leanne recommends using these lessons with grades 7-9, but they could also be used in grades outside this age range.
