PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Very often young children struggle moving from "choppy" individual sounds when decoding a word, to smoothing it out and hearing what they are saying. They forget the sound sequence and will often say a word that is similar but doesn't quite make sense. For example, a child might say, "/s/ /t/ /i/ /k/, and then say "click". I have tried to make the process more visual, so that children can begin to understand what we are asking them to do. I find when I can make concepts visual, auditory, and kinesthetic, children tend to understand better. This packet can be used for both small group and whole group instruction.
