Product Description
Save money and buy the bundle! This bundle includes two grammar worksheets that correspond to the Chapter 5 Structure of the Bon Voyage level 1 textbook, and can be easily adapted to other textbooks. Full descriptions of each are listed below.

WORKSHEET 1 - ALLER, LE FUTUR PROCHE, LE PRONOM Y
This French grammar worksheet is a great way for students to practice the conjugation of the verb "aller." They will also receive practice replacing subject nouns with the corresponding subject pronouns. By practicing subject pronoun substitution, students can get a better understanding of which verb form to use when there is a subject noun instead of a pronoun. In addition, students will practice the "futur proche" (near future tense), and use the pronoun "y" to replace locations.

In part one, students fill in the blank with the appropriate form of the verb "aller". They will also choose four of those sentences to translate to English.

In part two, students write the subject pronouns that would be used to replace various subject nouns. Using this information, students then write the appropriate form of the verb "aller" to go with each subject noun.

In part three, students practice the use of the pronoun "y" by rewriting sentences substituting the pronoun for the locations.

In part four, students practice the futur proche (near future tense) by identifying the verbs in various sentences and rewriting the sentences in the near future tense, using the correct form of the verb "aller."

Finally, in part five, students put it all together by translating sentences from English to French, making sure to use the correct forms of aller, including practice of the near future tense.

WORKSHEET 2 - PRENDRE VERBS, CONTRACTIONS WITH À & DE
This French grammar worksheet is a great way for students to practice the conjugation of the verbs "prendre," "comprendre," and "apprendre." They will also receive practice replacing subject nouns with the corresponding subject pronouns. By practicing subject pronoun substitution, students can get a better understanding of which verb form to use when there is a subject noun instead of a pronoun. In addition, students will practice forming contractions with "à" + definite articles, and with "de" + definite articles.

In part one, students fill in the blank with the appropriate form of the verbs "prendre," "comprendre," and "apprendre." They will also choose four of those sentences to translate to English.

In part two, students write the subject pronouns that would be used to replace various subject nouns. Using this information, students then write the appropriate form of the corresponding "prendre" verb to go with each subject noun.

In parts three and four, students practice forming contractions with "à" and "de" + definite articles (au, aux, du, des, etc.).

Finally, in part five, students put it all together by translating sentences from English to French, making sure to use the correct forms of prendre, comprendre, and apprendre, as well as the contractions with à and de.

BONUS: These worksheets each come with an alternate version designed specifically for struggling students. While addressing the same concepts as the original version, these "Version 2" worksheets give clues to struggling students and eliminates unnecessary variables in order to focus in on the essential elements of the lesson. It's great for INTERVENTIONS and DIFFERENTIATION!

Note: These worksheets also work well with the grammar sections of Chapters 2-3, and 5 of Bien Dit level 1. In fact, it is a Word document that can easily be edited and adapted to any French textbook or curriculum
