As World War II began the American people wanted nothing to do with another European war. The official policy was that of Isolation. Winston Churchill warned the United States that it was only a matter of time before came to the United States. He skillfully negotiated American involvement through various deals with President Roosevelt. But the attack by the Japanese of Pearl Harbor, quickly plunged the United States in a World War fighting on two fronts: Europe and the Pacific.
This presentation covers the mobilization of the United States of abandoning its isolation policies, of preparing the citizenry to support the war effort, of positioning military and political leaders to engage in the conflict and creating an intelligence network to defeat the Axis enemies.
