This is a bundle of 2 highly animated, power point presentations on the presidency of Woodrow Wilson and a summary of issues which led up to his election. Both presentations together number 36 slides. Each of the presentation slides are editable so you can change them to fit your individual needs.
Thomas Woodrow Wilson was an American politician and academic who served as the 28th President of the United States from 1913 to 1921. Wilson earned a PhD in political science, working as a professor and scholar at various institutions before being chosen as President of Princeton University, 1902 to 1910.
As president, he led America through World War I and crafted the Versailles Treaty's "Fourteen Points," the last of which was creating a League of Nations to ensure world peace. Wilson also created the Federal Reserve and supported the 19th Amendment, allowing women to vote.
Wilson was driven by a sense of mission and an ideal his father had instilled in him, to leave the world a better place than you found it. His legacy of peace, social and financial reform, and statesmanship with integrity lives on at the many schools and programs named after him, most notably the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation and his old alma mater, Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
