The second product is a vocabulary exercise, in a 35-slide power point format, that covers the entire unit on “What is History?”
The students are provided a list of the 30 vocabulary words within the presentation. Each vocabulary word is presented on a separate slide and contains the vocabulary word and its common definition.
The assignment for students is to review each of the 30 vocabulary words listed and to understand what they mean. This understanding will serve as a background for the student, to identify the chronological order of historical events while learning how history relates to the other social sciences. By understanding the definitions of the vocabulary words, you will be able to describe how history transmits culture and heritage and provides models of human character.
Sometimes vocabulary reviews can be a little stiff, so I have highly animated each of the 35 slides. They are also editable so you can feel free to adjust these slides as you need to.
Good luck and have fun with the presentation!
