Product Description
This is a bundle of three, highly animated, power point presentation on the significant events during the Winter of 1776 that helped turn American fortunes during the American Revolutionary War featuring Washington Crossing the Delaware River, The Battle of Trenton and the Battle of Princeton. There are a total of 60 slides in the presentations, all of which are editable so you can modify the slides if you need to.

Washington retreated across NJ with General Howe in close pursuit, escaping over the Delaware river into PA with about 3,000 men. As they retreated, he made camp and attempted to reinvigorate his shrinking command. Combating rain, sleet, and snow, Washington's army reached the Delaware river where he made his famous crossing on Christmas night. Surprising the Hessians, Washington delivered a significant victory for the Americans at the Battle of Trenton and the Battle of Princeton.

The victories at Trenton and Princeton helped Washington grasp the most effective way to fight the British: avoid the main army and fight on grounds of his choosing in outlying areas. Though a minor engagement relative to the size of the forces involved, the victory at Trenton and Princeton had a massive effect on the colonial war effort. Instilling a new confidence in the army and the Continental Congress, the triumph at Trenton bolstered public morale and increased enlistments.
