The United States has existed just over 230 years. Its government is unique in both its development and in the way, it functions as the world’s greatest representative democracy. As the founding fathers incorporated many of its ideas of government from the best thinkers of its day. Those thinkers wrote them directly into the laws of the land, creating a whole new vocabulary to describe these ideas.
