This is a bundle of four items which include three separate, highly animated, editable power point presentation on the Beginning of School and a cooperative group activity. The individual presentations cover Classroom Procedures, Rules, Behaviors and Consequences and Creating and Setting Goals. There is a total of 57 slides in the presentations.
The activity consists of a cooperative group activity whereby students brainstorm the characteristics needed to become a successful student. This exercise helps set a positive tone for the classroom. I have used this activity for the many years because it leads right into a discussion of rules and procedures. Also, I believe it helps the students by them taking an active part in establishing the classroom culture.

Simply Put: “Goals are the end toward which effort is directed.” Goals are different than dreams and/or wants, since they are specific to the end objective.
Goal setting involves establishing action plans that meet the end objectives. The purpose of a goal is to give you a means to achieve an important objective. Goal setting is a major component of personal-development and management. Successful people have well-defined goals.
