This is a bundle of 4 on Forms of Government – Which Government is Which? I have included 2 power point presentations that support the lessons. The first is titled Forms of Government and the second is titled Communism and Socialism. Together they number 49 slides. Each of the slides are editable also you may edit those as you choose.
Also included in the bundle is both a Student Study Guide with a Guided Notes Activity Worksheet and a Teacher Answer Key. The Student Study Guide with the Guided Notes Activity Worksheet references the Florida Students Educational Resources Tutorial: Which Government is Which?
This activity complies with Florida Civics Benchmark: SS.7.C.3.1
SS.7.C.3.1 Compare different forms of government (direct democracy, representative democracy, socialism, communism, monarchy, oligarchy, autocracy).
If you do not have a computer for each student, you can present the tutorial class activity completing each activity as you progress through the tutorial. If you have a smartboard, students can complete the activity at their seat, individually or with partners, and then come to the smartboard to present the answer. If you have computers or a laptop for each student, students can complete the tutorial and add answers as they progress through the tutorial at their own pace. Either way, students can then use the worksheet as a study guide for a quiz or the End of Course Exam.
