Bundle of Hands-on Emergent Readers for Beginning Sounds. This is good practice for beginning readers who are learning letter/sound correspondence. There are 6 words in each book, plus a page for upper and lower letter formation practice. It also includes a cover page, a blank page and a requested "The end." page. After cutting the 1/2 pages, each booklet will have 9 pages with an option to add a tenth page for your own letters, words or pictures :)
NOTE: This is a complete set. It includes emergent readers for the 26 letters of the alphabet.
These books are hands-on in that students will color the picture and then cut and paste the letters at the beginning of words and floating around the page. This will expose students to letters at the beginning of words and know that they also stand alone.
Each page will be read by pointing to each word and letter to practice one-to-one correspondence. It will sound something like this: "APPLE, /a/, /a/,/a/." You may choose to work on letter names instead of letter sounds (it's your choice)
