These mini books help students develop vocabulary to engage in conversation related to the holidays as well as recognize traditions and understand expectations. Each holiday unit was designed using simple language and pictures to help learners increase vocabulary and understand expectations. Color and Black and White versions are provided for each with corresponding mini pictures for each page.

Print and laminate the color mini book and make black and white student copies to send home. The small color pictures can be cut out, glued on index cards and laminated. They are very useful this way for many activities and can easily be kept in a small recipe box. Another way to use the smaller pictures is to laminate the them, place a small piece of Velcro on the back of each one and on the corresponding laminated book pages.
The books can be used with beginning readers and writers, as well as ABA, Verbal Behavior and DDT.
