Here are bundled lessons of nine lessons which give students an opportunity to use their knowledge of punctuation and capitalization. You can buy the individually themed monthly worksheets or, save money, by buying this bundled lesson. There are several sentences that have special nouns (proper nouns) that need to be capitalized so you can see if your students have this skill and, if not, you’ll need to teach it. For the punctuation, all sentences end with a period except for one which ends in a question mark.
These nine lessons have five worksheets per lesson. You might do one as a whole class project to show students what you’d like them to do. Since there are five worksheets, you can do one with the students and then let them do one per week at a literacy center.
As a bonus, students can draw and color different numbers of items. They love the drawing and coloring, and they get practice in counting.
The themed lessons are for September through May.
This is also excellent individual practice, homework, or a mini lesson in capitalization and punctuation.
