This project is my own version of the much-used idea of a bungee egg drop project. The materials for this document were written on my own with my Algebra II class in mind. We collected data, then did a linear regression on the data collected. We talked about correlation and how the correlation coefficient relates to the specific set of data, and I also required them to plot their data and draw a line of best fit. They then used their model to make predictions about the number of rubber bands needed for a given "jump height."
The full document includes the introduction (which is shown), worksheets for three days of class, a reflection outline/guideline, and a grading rubric (shown).
