I’ve been making this cute little bunny basket with my first graders for years. It’s great for all the elementary grades.
I copy off the basket and handle patterns onto cardstock for sturdiness. The bunny head and feet can be copied onto white construction paper or regular copy paper.
For the basket, cut on the dotted lines and fold on all the solid lines. Pull the corners together gluing one flap to the back and gluing one flap to the inside.
Color the bunny nose, ears, and the circles on its feet. Add a cotton ball to the back, the feet to the front, the head on the inside of the basket opposite the cotton tail, and the handle ends to the inside of the basket on either side. See Example. Add grass and candy!
