Where is the Easter Bunny?
These are fun games to teach the addition facts through 10. Bunny bump is a small group activity. ‘Where is the Easter Bunny?’ can be used with a small group or whole group.

Bunny Bump
The children will each have a different color marker such as unifix cubes or stackers to cover the words. One gameboard is needed. The children will take turns drawing a card. They will solve the equation and cover the number that shows the sum on the gameboard. If someone already has a marker covering the number, they may bump that marker off and place their marker on the number. If they themself have a marker covering the number, they may add another one on top to secure the number. It may not be bumped off by someone else now that it is secure. If the number needed is covered and secured already, they lose that turn. If a empty Easter basket is drawn, they lose a turn. If an Easter Bunny is drawn, they draw 2 more cards. When all the numbers are covered, the child with the most markers on the board wins.
A number line is included for children that need support in solving the addition equations,

Where is the Easter Bunny?
Place 10 – 12 cards in a pocket chart. Hide the Easter Bunny behind one of them. The children will guess where the bunny is by giving the sum of the equation that they think the bunny is behind. The card will be pulled up to reveal if the bunny is there or not. Continue until the bunny is found.
