This comprehensive pack is a story book companion to “Bunny Cakes” by Rosemary Wells. Children love Max and Ruby and can relate to the big sister and little brother relationship. Max keeps trying and trying, doesn't give up, and finally is successful in using a strategy that works for him. It's a wonderful example for little ones to let them know they can succeed even if they are little.
The design of the lessons focus on lots of vocabulary enrichment, leveled comprehension, early literacy, letter identification, writing, creative language, comparing and contrasting, and beginning oral narrative productions. It assess and targets many levels of WH-questions using multiple strategies. Kids get to practice their emerging early writing skills in a fun and reinforcing manner. They can readily relate to Max's attempts to "write" so that others can "read" it.
It includes 4 lessons, 27 vocabulary cards, 3 Word Cards with visuals, 3 Word Cards with text-only, and a Compare/Contrast Chart. The book is not included and will need to be obtained separately.
