This is a fun way to group students for cooperative learning activities. All you need to do is run as many copies of the bunnies as you need, cut them apart and then have students choose a bunny card.
There are 48 cards.
1.You can group students as pairs, there are two of each bunny card.
2.You can group them by category, the categories are:
a. Car bunnies
b. Athletic bunnies
c. Bunnies in a hat
d. Zany bunnies
e. Bunnies with eggs
I used this with middle school students to randomly group them and I have also done this type of activity with elementary students. Fun is fun at any age.
In the pre-school and early childhood elementary classroom you can have students sort the bunnies at a station as an anchor activity.
