This assignment focuses on a single theme and is most often given as homework, but could be completed in class as well. Students should be able to complete “job” worksheets on their own.
Lab-style exercises involving the measurement of liquid displaced by the submersion of objects, and calculations that can be made from the data. Flotation and support calculations are included, too.
