Business Competition- Keeping up with the Competition

This activity deals with business competition. In this activity students will come up with different strategies/ways a business can compete and stand out from their competitors by responding to various questions. Examples of the questions consist of the following: Students will select two business types (car wash, restaurant, nail salon, etc.) and describe what they would do to remain competitive if they owned the business. They can discuss special promotions, design of place, how they would make it unique, etc. Students will then describe a business they frequent and how that business is unique/different, do research to find a current special/promotion that a restaurant or other is business is offering, etc.
