PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

What you will receive here is a 2-2.5 hour Business ESL lesson that focuses on job/university/college Interviews. There is a cover page and 10 activity pages for the students and 2 note pages. This ESL Interview lesson has been created to suit early teenagers – adults. The lesson starts off with a brainstorm page which encourages a group of students to shout out answers to the teacher. As each answer is shouted out, ask students what it means, come up and role play or give examples. If their English is beginner level then ask them easier questions like how you spell these words etc. The next 2 pages have images with examples of things we should and shouldn’t wear when going to an interview for example shorts. A lot of time can be placed on these 2 pages because there is also a lot of vocabulary to talk about with the students.

The next 2 pages have a Do and Don’t page. These are discussion pages about bad habits such as don’t bite your nails.

The rest of the pages are self-explanatory, if you have any questions or need any help let us know and we will get back to you right away with any help you need.

ALWAYS REMEMBER: One of the most important goals we are trying to achieve is for the students to speak English correctly and in full sentences. When first hearing this, students may feel overwhelmed and scared. You must explain that sentences need not be very long or detailed in grammar. Something as simple as “London is a city.” is a full and correct sentence.
Praise students for their contributions throughout the lesson. Make them feel a sense of achievement. Encourage them to be proud of themselves. Use camp/class dollars to spur students on. Keep them talking, keep them trying. By using this approach, students will quickly learn that sentences are not difficult and their conversational skills will improve dramatically.
