Business Management- Management Duties: Levels and Functions
This assignment consists of 15 descriptions of a management duty scenario. Students are tasked with deciding what level of management is responsible for that duty and what management function the duty is. This is an excellent review of management levels and functions. A detailed answer key is provided. The directions on the assignment are as follows: Each of the managers described below occupies one of the three levels of management: top-level managers, middle-level managers, and operational/lower-level. Each is also involved in one of the management functions: planning, staffing, organizing, leading, and controlling. Read the descriptions and then fill in the chart. Note: Each example only has one function but a few can have more than one level.
