Once students understand the sales process, they should engage in a process where they have to research a product that is sold in the B to B market. Students choose an existing company to work for and then prepare a B to B presentation for a product or service that the company sells. Once the presentation is complete, invite business professionals into the classroom to engage with the student presentations. I make the students dress professional and research their client on Linked In before meeting with them. Students will use sales for the rest of their lives in multiple situations.
