Búsqueda de Sílabas is a fun and interactive way for young readers to practice identifying specific Spanish consonant-vowel syllables in spoken words. This engaging auditory practice activity is simple to use. Simply choose between the two versions of the activity for the letter that you are teaching, (9 Word Practice Page or 25 Word Practice Page, as shown on packet title page). Then, select the word bank for the letter and read the words in random order to your students. Your students will find the syllable on their practice page that they hear in each word and color it in. It's a great way to assess your students' understanding! It also has great connections to the Common Core Reading Foundational Skills Standards.
This packet includes two versions of the Practice Pages (9 Word and 25 Word Versions), which encompass 60 pages of this packet, and 15 pages of Word Banks for the consonant-vowel syllables. The Word Banks contain over 1000 words in all. You will also find several alternate versions of the Cc and Gg Practice Pages that you can choose from depending on how you teach the syllables formed with these letters.
