In this fun reading game, students will be playing to be the first one to fill their busy bee bingo board. Students will be practising reading and comprehension skills when they read the sentence and find the matching picture. This is a great game for literacy or reading groups and is easy enough to be played without a teacher. All of the sentences are decodable and use common high frequency words. There are 8 boards included in this game with 6 pictures per board. Every board has different pictures, which means there are 48 sentences for students to read and match!
How to play:
Each student has a bingo board. Students take it in turns to choose a sentence and read it to the other students. If a student has the picture that matches the sentence, they put a counter on the picture. The next student chooses a sentence strip and reads it aloud. This continues until a player has filled their bingo board and says bingo.
It is very simply to prepare, just print the pages, cut out the strips and laminate. Everything that is needed to play is included, except counters for the students to put on the pictures.
