Description
4 Board games to help children learn and pracitse doubles and halves.
Busy Bee Doubles to 10
Dragonfly Halves to 10
Busy Bee Doubles to 24
Dragonfly Halves to 24
That's 4 games in total plus 'extra value play' notes making 8 games altogether.
Busy Bee Doubles and Dragonfly Bubbles are fun board game for children to practise doubling and halving skills. They don't have to know the answers already because there are bubbles to work out the answers on the game board.
Learning doubles and halves is a great way to boost maths skills because they can be used in many areas of maths:
To help solve maths word problems more quickly
Addition and subtraction of doubles and near doubles
A useful times tables strategy for children who find times tables hard to memorise.
You will need 2 sets of 10 counters and a playing piece to play this game.
These games are a firm favourite with the children I teach.
