Summer Speech and Language Activity:
Do you need something productive for your students to independently work on while collecting data? This book was made for my Pre K and Kindergarten students to independently work on as I did progress monitoring each three weeks.
The interactive book might be just what you need for Response to Intervention activities in small group.
This download contains a full size, Summer-themed, 10 page book of phonemic awareness and language activities including:
Matching words with their first letter sound
Using pronouns and possessive pronouns in sentences
Using action words in sentences
Using descriptive words in sentences: Size/color
Categorization/Associations
Rhyming Words
Write the Room/Vocabulary
Positional Vocabulary
There will be PLENTY of time for you to work with your other students while another student works independently on his/her own language activities.
Minimal Prep: Just print and cut out interactive pieces on one page. Use velcro and binder rings to assemble. Laminate all pages. The student will use dry erase or Vis-A-Vis markers with this activity.
