This is a quick and fun activity (using common household items!) to introduce the concept of conductors and conductivity. It is great to use in conjunction with teaching about elements and properties, or when teaching about heat transfer.
The activity can be used as a classroom demonstration or can be done by individual students.
A list of materials, directions, and follow up questions are included.
Correlates to Tennessee standards 507.Inq.1 and 507.10.2
