Einstein discovered that imagination is more important than knowledge.
In these materials imagination increases knowledge adventures and adds fun to learning!
The butterfly idea came to me from tasks I created for my own grandchildren
who became fascinated with beauty and grace in these amazing creatures. It also came from sadly remembering the ways I tried to leapfrog over boredom in my own early grade classes. As a child I tended to learn quickly – and always felt like I wasted endless times waiting for kids to “catch up.” It felt to me that I was bored daily and so were my friends.
With butterfly tasks there is always a cool new flight or two to keep your students thinking
. They create more and loving the adventure of learning – while they move through lessons more at their own pace. The butterflies also send mentally charged fuels such as serotonin that come to students when they feel cared for and supported as they learn.
Included here you will enjoy butterflies in different colors and shapes
. Your enthused students can select, cut out or copy shapes here to bring their own butterflies to life. With their butterfly nearby on a desk or table, they will find an unconditionally supportive co-learner in their pet-pal. Where else can one feel consistently encouraged to progress?
This kit includes cool butterfly questions
to foster higher level learning solutions, that students enjoy. Tasks include student-led questions, answers and innovative solutions.
