These exit tickets can be used after studying the butterfly life cycle.
In the first option, students correctly label the 4 stages of the butterfly's life cycle, and then they write a sentence from the perspective of the butterfly at one of the stages.
With the other option, students write a haiku poem as a quick assessment to show what they comprehend about the life cycle. With my 2nd graders, we used the third page to make a 'final copy' of the haiku. Students make illustrations of the 4 life cycle stages in the circles, and add labels for each stage in the boxes. We then hung these in our hallway for display.
In hopes of conserving resources a bit, the exit tickets are duplicated so you get two on one sheet.
