This Poster is perfect to use when teaching students how to compare and find equivalent fractions. I find the butterfly method to be a lot easier for students to understand and grasp. I have included black and white copies as well as color interactive for both posters.
It is a method that can also be used to show students how to add and subtract fractions with uncommon denominators as well. That will be coming to this bundle later.
I also included two different language uses as well. One that is more direct and amid at older students and one that has silly language such as "eyeballs" for younger students to grasp their attention. Both do use the words cross multiply and product though so they can learn proper math vocabulary.
To print the perfect size for interactive notebooks I suggest printing two per page in PDF. You can do this by clicking on the size button at printing time and checking the multiple box. Just make sure they are bot either in portrait and landscape which ever works for you. Hint you also have to type the page number in twice on the pages you want printed.
