Last year my students raised butterflies from larvae. Each day we observed them, discussed the stage that they were in, students drew pictures of what they saw, and made predictions for what we thought we would see the next day. We also charted the stage on the back of the book, and at the end, we totaled up how many days it took for each part of the cycle. Students used this information to create a bar graph.
The first page is the cover page of the book. The second page is the daily recording sheet which you will need to make multiple copies (2 sided) to create the booklets.
